Main Point: Death is never ours to choose because we are not our own and our pain has purpose.

1. Against Choosing Death (Exodus 20:13)

  -God's word is clear

  -Our world is unclear

2. We Are Not Our Own (Genesis 1:26-28)

3. Our Pain Has Purpose (John 11)

  -Pain and suffering are not to be avoided at all costs

  -God will eliminate all suffering without eliminating the sufferer

  -Death is never the answer - the one who overcame it is
